Participants
of the Hancock Acoustic Guitar Making Course enjoy building their own guitar in
either a Weissenborn style or Martin Dreadnaught or Triple-0 style.
High
quality partly worked components are utilised throughout the guitar making
process. The combination of quality materials and expert tuition ensures
that all participants finish the course not only with an understanding of how
to build a guitar but also with a completed, high quality instrument which
will last a lifetime.
Participants begin by designing and cutting their own personalised insignia from Mother of pearl and inlaying it into the head of their instrument. They can also customise their instrument's trim including different inlay and binding options.
