Acoustic Guitar Making
Our acoustic guitar making course is an intensive two week workshop. Courses are normally held twice a year. Our hours are 8:30am to 12:30pm, then 1:30pm to 5:00pm. These hours apply from Monday to Saturday for both weeks. These hours provide one hour for lunch and a day off on Sunday. The workroom is fully set up on Monday morning. When participants arrive a work bench with all parts is provided and instrument plans are set up for reference. All necessary tools and templates are provided for use during the course. Small lectures are given on important topics and any other topics students wish to learn about. The last day is reserved for a full French polishing and lacquering demonstration.
