Participants of the Hancock Electric Guitar Making Course enjoy building their own guitar or bass in the classic Fender bolt-on neck design.

Customisation is an important part of the process, there are a wide range of choices including timbers, colour, hardware, pickups, electronics and relic finishes. There is also the option to upgrade pickups and some other components at cost.

The highest quality components are utilised including Fender-licensed bodies and necks and hardware from Gotoh Japan and Allparts USA. The combination of quality materials and expert tuition ensures that all participants finish the course not only with an understanding of how to assemble, wire and setup an electric guitar but also with a completed, high quality instrument which will last a lifetime.
